OPTION 1 — ADD TO CALENDAR (easiest, all phones)

Download/open: vote-reminder.ics (same folder as this file)

• iPhone: tap the file → Add All · set alert to "At time of event"
• Google Calendar: import the .ics → you'll get a 9:00 AM Pacific reminder daily
• Outlook: double-click the .ics → Save & Close

Change the reminder time in your calendar app after importing if 9 AM doesn't suit.

OPTION 2 — iPHONE / iPAD SHORTCUT (one tap from home screen)

1. Open the Shortcuts app → + (new shortcut)
2. Add action: "Open URLs" → https://vote.leatsilvera.com
3. Name it "Vote for Leat"
4. Tap shortcut name → Details → Add to Home Screen

Optional daily nudge (still manual vote):
5. Automation tab → + → Time of Day → 9:00 AM → Daily → Run Immediately
6. Add action: Open URLs → https://vote.leatsilvera.com

OPTION 3 — WINDOWS TASK SCHEDULER

1. Save remind-and-open.ps1 somewhere permanent (e.g. Documents\LeatVote\)
2. Open Task Scheduler → Create Basic Task
3. Name: "Leat Silvera daily vote reminder"
4. Trigger: Daily, start tomorrow, 9:00 AM, recur every 1 day, end July 2 2026
5. Action: Start a program
   Program: powershell.exe
   Arguments: -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\path\to\remind-and-open.ps1"
6. Finish · test by right-click → Run

OPTION 4 — MAC (cron or launchd)

chmod +x remind-and-open.sh

Cron (simple):
  crontab -e
  Add: 0 9 * * * /full/path/to/remind-and-open.sh

Runs daily at 9:00 AM local time. Remove the line after July 2.

Pin the bookmark bar. Visit once per day before the 24-hour reset.

3. peoplesartist.org loads — log in with Facebook if asked
4. Choose the FREE vote option (not a donation)
